How to Dominate Online Poker Rooms

When playing online reading opponent tells are 1000% harder if you
don't know what to look for. There are no facial expressions or any
kind physical human contact that can give away of how the person is
feeling about their hand. This is one of the huge advertisements for

Poker is just an example. What people don't realize is there are
online poker tells that will
give away the power of people's hands as well as different ways to
confuse your opponents on what you have.
Online Poker Tell #1 -
Lets start off with common poker tells on how to spot a bad player.
Be observant! If players go from big to small stacks and re-buy, you
got yourself a keeper. Also observe how often someone sees the flop,
if it is around 40% or more... we got ourselves a fish, look out for
these players (for you will want to stay around them).
Online Poker Tell #2 - Ok,
now lets get more specific on ways to read opponents online. Most
online poker sites such as Party Poker, Poker.com, Titan Poker,
Pacific Poker, etc all have options to make playing poker online
'easier' and 'more convenient' but most users don't realize these
options will give away strengths of your hand and such. These
options offered are little check boxes labeled "fold" "check/fold"
"call" "raise" so you can look at community cards and your cards and
decide what you want to do before it is your turn. By doing this
once it comes to your turn whatever you have checked is instantly
done, and the next player does this. I am sure online poker rooms do
this so games go faster and they can get more rake per hour. Instead
of using this system to make playing more leisurely, use it to your
advantage to read other players.
Example #1 - Opponent is
late to act and instantly checks on the flop when it comes to them.
Most of the time this means they had the "check/fold" option
selected, and would of folded to any raise. Of course this means
they have a weak hand and the likely hood of the turn card giving
them a killer hand is slim. Use this to your advantage and push them
out of the pot!
Example #2 - Same thing
goes for when you get instantly raised or pushed all-in by someone.
Think twice, if they are confident enough to have that button
pressed already they either got the nuts or an idiot. It is a common
passive mind game where it is more like an instant dare for you to
call them. Don't let this strategy get to you make sure you know
your opponent!
Online Poker Tell #3 -
Reverse physiology is common among new players because they think
they are soooo sly in tricking other players with 'fake tells'. In
these cases they delay for a bit which is followed by a check trying
to show they thought about it betting (showing strength), but
checked to get a check raise out of you. When in reality they are
looking for a free card. This may be confusing because it can go
both ways, most important factor is to watch your opponents for a
couple rotations to see how they are playing at this.
KEY
POINT - If you know how you opponent plays you can always
beat them in the long run, by anticipating their moves you can
completely dominate the game and raise/fold at the right times. A
true pro knows how to switch their table image and screw everyone up
because no one knows how to predict his next move. This is how the
true pros play and should be your goal to achieve if you are playing
against advanced poker players.
